As a Security Engineer at Xyntrel, you’ll operate at the intersection of offense and defense. You’ll design, execute, and refine security controls through red team simulations, detection engineering, and continuous improvement of our monitoring and response capabilities. Your work directly strengthens the resilience of high-impact environments.
Your Role
- Implement cloud-native security (IAM, encryption, network controls, secrets management)
- Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Monitor, detect, and respond to vulnerabilities and incidents
- Support risk assessments, audits, and compliance (ISO 27001, NIS2, GDPR)
- Advise teams on secure design and DevSecOps best practices
- Develop and tune detection logic for SIEM and EDR platforms (Splunk, Sentinel, CrowdStrike, Carbon Black). Skilled in other, but related tools? This is also acceptable.
You Bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on cloud security experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Knowledge of zero trust, secure networking, and cloud-native security tooling
- Experience with IaC and DevSecOps (e.g. GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
- Strong communication and a proactive, security-first mindset
